Our Services
The term Hospice comes from the Latin root word "hospitium", which means hospitable. In medieval times, hospice was a place of shelter for travelers on a difficult journey. No journey is more difficult than that of one suffering a terminal illness.
Today, hospice is a philosophy of care that accepts dying as a natural part of life. Hospice provides support and care in the last phases of incurable disease and illness, so that people may live as fully and as comfortable as possible. Hospice care affirms life — it neither hastens nor postpones death.
Hospice Partners of the Central Coast is recognized by the community as the leader in hospice, palliative care, grief and loss support. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call us at (805) 782-8608.
