Hospice Partner’s Hope Chest is open for business. A long awaited dream has been realized. Hospice Partners opened its Hope Chest in early April. The 5,000 square foot thrift store is located at 445 Higuera in San Luis Obispo, and offers higher-end thrift store items, including gently-used clothing, shoes, furniture and household goods.

The Hope Chest features its own Boutique of specialty clothing items.

Hope Chest is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We accept donated goods on those days from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

If you donate it we can sell it!
We rely on the generous donations of individual givers and local retailers.

 

Hospice Partners is especially appreciative of the generous support of numerous local merchants, including Ann’s Clothing, Apropos, Johnson’s Children Store,  My Favorite Things Boutique at The Madonna Inn and Paul’s Cleaners, property owners, James McKiernan, Esq. and Chris McKiernan, Doug Bingham of Spectrum Color Images, and Warren Smith Construction, our contractor.

Gill Blonsley, a retired health care administrator, is the store manager, and local merchant Pam McKiernan is the assistant manager. Volunteers fill the rest of the positions which include sales associates, and merchandise pricing team.
